This Spanish red wine is made from a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15 % Merlot. The grapes come from vines above 35 years of age planted in poor, rocky-limestone soils located at an altitude of 915 metres above sea level.
First, they were destemmed amd cold-soaked. Fermented and macerated with frequent pump-overs and punch-downs, Rolland Galarreta 2015 was then transferred into French oak barrels, where it completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for a period of 10 months.
Not filtered before its bottling, the wine spent a further 4 months in the cellar prior to its release.
Decant 30 minutes before drinking.
